Dr. John Corrigan elected to lead the Project Directors of the federally funded TBI Model Systems Program

John D. Corrigan, PhD, Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will lead the Project Directors of the federally funded Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model Systems Program. Corrigan is the Project Director of Ohio State’s Ohio Regional TBI Model System, one of 16 centers nationally funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) to study the initial recovery and lifelong changes that result from TBI. Corrigan will Chair the TBI Model Systems Executive Committee, a position which includes representing the centers' concerns to the public, elected officials, NIDRR and other federal programs concerned with the long-term effects of TBI. Corrigan was elected by his fellow Project Directors during their December 13-14 meeting in Washington DC. Corrigan chaired the Executive Committee in the previous 5-year cycle, as well.
